Sanctuary Uganda
Sanctuary Uganda was founded 2019 by young members of the Jewish community, to be a haven for the lost children of Mbale. Over the past decade HIV, Malaria and a host of other issues have left a surge of orphaned children in a country that does not have the infrastructure to support them.
The streets of the city can be a dangerous place for a child where disease, hunger and predators are commonplace. Within the walls of the Haven, the children are given food, healthcare, education and a family that will keep them safe and help them grow.
Sanctuary Uganda is a Registered CBO with goals of becoming a NGO in the future.
